AECOM seeks a Geospatial Systems Engineer to manage and develop ESRI Enterprise infrastructure, ArcGIS Online environments, and custom geospatial applications. This remote position supports Environment, Transportation, and Water business lines, working with project teams to deliver mobile/web GIS solutions for infrastructure management, environmental permitting, and asset management. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with various AECOM staff and project teams to develop, deploy, and support Enterprise Geospatial, AGOL, and mobile/web solutions critical to successful project delivery.

Provide systems engineering support for commercial low Earth orbit (LEO) programs, ensuring reliable space-to-ground communications for NASA crew and cargo missions. Collaborate with technical teams, contractors, and commercial space providers to develop system requirements and validate communication technologies. Contribute to ongoing LEO missions, helping advance the U.S. presence in space and supporting research and operational objectives.

As a Senior Field Engineer, you’ll spearhead Tomorrow.io’s on-site technical operations for a high-profile, fast-moving global technology project. You’ll oversee the deployment, operation, and maintenance of Tomorrow.io’s weather systems, including radar and weather stations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reliably across multiple international sites. Approximately 60% of this role will require international travel to customer locations.

$200,000–$300,000/yr

Responsible for establishing and executing the high-level strategic direction of project controls. Leads risk workshops with the project team to identify risks and mitigation actions. Develops overall guidelines for project level chartering and partnering.

  • Lead technical aspects of implementations, including collecting requirements and building workflows.
  • Provide solutions to customer issues and interact directly with customers.
  • Take responsibility for projects end-to-end, from idea to completion.

  • Serve as a team member on customer projects, focusing on design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation.
  • Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users, customers, and prospects, assisting with implementation, onboarding, production launches, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Work as a member of the Support Team, handling L1 to L3 cases and communications when not actively assigned to customer projects.
