In this role, you'll manage planning, objectives, goals, hiring, development, and performance reviews. Provide technical guidance for systems optimization and participate in architectural reviews. Assess risks and ensure systems are highly available and operationally sound. Collaborate with peer teams on global engineering efforts and represent the Systems Engineering team to stakeholders.

Provide tailored solutions to customers, participate in technical demonstrations, support, and sales of advanced multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions, influencing product development. This 100% remote position requires candidates based in Africa.

Assume responsibility for the structured decommissioning and capacity optimization of OTC hardware that has reached End of Life or is no longer supported by the vendor. Serve as a reliable point of contact and subject matter expert for hardware lifecycle and public cloud infrastructure management. Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions—particularly for NetBox plugin enhancements and Jira tickets.

Assist in the creation of OSP Design maps using GIS, understand numerous projects, and monitor design costs and job progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for working with governmental agencies to protect the TDS OSP network and may be required to negotiate with municipalities and other utility companies.
