Provide project support for outside plant engineering (OSPE) by working closely with a team of outside plant engineers to ensure that outside plant engineering deliverables created in GIS are completed accurately, on time, in scope and on budget. Routinely perform project-based GIS outside plant records updates and communicate project status updates.
Perform geospatial lidar technical tasks for USGS 3DHP task orders. Helps to define optimal workflow processes for their respective areas of expertise. Assists leadership in identifying technology needs, including hardware and software. Monitors and executes geospatial processes within their department, ensuring required steps are performed correctly and accurately.
Assist in the creation of OSP Design maps using GIS, understand numerous projects, and monitor design costs and job progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for working with governmental agencies to protect the TDS OSP network and may be required to negotiate with municipalities and other utility companies.
