Information System Security Officer (ISSO) - DHS

As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) market, focusing on cybersecurity. You will acquire and manage documentation to support IT cybersecurity goals. Work with senior management on system risk levels and cybersecurity posture in cloud environments. You will assist in deploying and configuring security controls with Cloud Architects, ensuring developed systems align with DHS policies. Key tasks include performing A&A reviews, identifying gaps, and supporting risk management plans for cybersecurity personnel. Provide input on cybersecurity requirements and maintain data for compliance reporting. You will offer subject matter expertise for Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and related documentation and track audit findings, ensuring mitigation actions. You will coordinate with distributed teams to ensure cybersecurity compliance and manage A&A activities for respective systems and security. You will also lead the development of system Assess and Authorize documentation and assist associates through RMF phases.
