C++ Software Engineer

About the Role:

• Build low-latency trading infrastructure on Linux, working on core components of the Switchboard trading platform.
• Own the full lifecycle from design through production, including testing, deployment, and incident response.
• Work with modern C++20, Go, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.

What You'll Work On:

• Modern C++20 and Go on Linux with a focus on microsecond-level latency optimisation.
• Market-data and reference-data pipelines across multiple asset classes.
• FIX protocol integrations with global banks and liquidity providers.

What We Need:

• Strong C++ with Linux systems programming (3+ years) and experience with performance-sensitive systems.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, socket programming) and Go experience is a strong bonus.
• Delivery-focused mindset, ownership of production systems, and clear communication.
