Principal Software Engineer

Miris is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to enhance streaming capabilities and optimize network performance for delivering 3D content. The engineer will lead the design of adaptable streaming architectures and maintain network transport algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate streaming solutions. The role involves developing adaptive streaming technologies, focusing on dynamic bandwidth adjustment and network protocols, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing existing codebases to improve performance. The ideal candidate should bring 7+ years of experience in C++ development, experience with Go and web services, and a proven track record in leading project architectures and teams. Proficiency in network transport protocols, media delivery, adaptive bitrate streaming, client-side media playback logic, and media player development is essential. Familiarity with Unity or Unreal is advantageous, along with excellent problem-solving skills for a fast-paced environment.
