Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer focused primarily on supporting live channel distribution on the Video Streaming Engineering team within the NBCU Operations and Technology division. This position is part of a dedicated 24x7 team tasked with supporting and maintaining distribution systems including diagnosing and preventing on-air issues before they arise.
Responsibilities include investigating issues within broadcast systems to find root causes, driving investigations related to Broadcast issues, and reporting findings. The role also involves creating comprehensive documentation, assisting in the deployment and testing of patches, supporting on-air systems integration, and providing 24x7 on-air systems support. On-call support may be required during on-air rollouts and special broadcast events.
