Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply software to process gridded weather and climate data.
- Analyze satellite remote sensing data and process hydrologic sensor data.
- Produce machine learning models and use industry standard software development tools.
Required Experience/Education:
- Ph.D. in Hydrology, Ecology, Engineering, or related field.
- Expertise in satellite remote sensing and management of large spatiotemporal datasets.
- Strong evidence in using R and Python programming languages.
Preferred Experience:
- Research focused on river systems and groundwater dependent ecosystems.
- Use of satellite remote sensing and spatial climate data together within statistical frameworks.
- Experience using Google Cloud products and Cloud Optimized Geotiffs (COGs).
