Remote Language Arts Teacher

Role Overview:

• Deliver engaging live online ELA classes for elementary students (1st–4th grade focus).
• Use Think Academy's curriculum to teach reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Engage and manage small virtual classrooms of up to ~10 students.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lessons and utilize provided curriculum resources effectively.
• Grade assignments, give timely feedback, and track student progress.
• Communicate professionally with students and parents about learning goals.

Qualifications:

• Native-level English speaker with excellent command of American English.
• U.S. public/private/charter school ELA teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; Education/ELA/English majors preferred.
• Comfortable with online teaching technology and virtual classroom management.

Compensation & Perks:

• Base pay from $35 per teaching hour; non-teaching fee $16-20/hour.

• Flexible part-time schedule with classes in U.S. time zones and weekends.
