Senior Data Scientist, Product

Thumbtack's Data Science team empowers the company to use data to guide business decisions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will embed with product teams to support new product feature launches, study the economics of our massive and dynamic marketplace, and help inform strategy. You will design and analyze experiments and other tests for causal inference, in collaboration with engineers, applied scientists, and economists. You will also partner with product managers and engineers to help scope new features, make recommendations on the business logic of new features, define and monitor key metrics, and investigate changes in metrics to propose next steps. In addition, you will contribute to our team and company data culture through accessible data table design and maintenance, and collaborate with, mentor, and help recruit team members.
