Client Interactions:

• Meet with clients to identify technical eligibility and structure projects.
• Advise clients during CRA technical audits for SR&ED tax credit claims.
• Respond to correspondence initiated by CRA regarding technology aspects of claims.

Team Leadership:

• Manage, coach, and develop technical writers.
• Improve interviewing skills and effective T661 writing skills among team members.
• Prepare effective costing notes for claims.

Claim Preparation and Review:

• Prepare technical narratives for SR&ED tax credit claims.
• Identify employees, subcontractors, and materials related to eligible activities.
• Review and sign off on all claims written by the firm’s technical writers.
