Data Warehouse Manager/Architect

We are seeking a Data Warehouse Architect / Manager with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and modern data architecture. This role will lead the transformation of our data warehouse and reporting environment, aligning it with strategic business goals and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will oversee architecture, governance, performance, and a small team of data engineers, focusing on enabling self-service analytics, operational visibility, and compliance. Primary responsibilities include architecting, implementing, and managing the enterprise data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric and Synapse Analytics. Lead the modernization and migration of existing SQL-based data warehouses to a cloud-native platform. Design and maintain a unified data lakehouse architecture that supports both structured and semi-structured data, while also implementing and governing enterprise-wide data models, standard definitions, and metadata layers. Other responsibilities include driving adoption of Microsoft Fabric capabilities and ensuring performance optimization and data governance. Mentor and manage data engineers and developers, and collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
