Senior Security Architect

The Senior Security Architect will advise and guide customers on their cloud security journey and establish a long-term trusted advisor role. Responsibilities include engaging with customers to help assess their cloud security posture and provide guidance on their cloud security roadmap. The architect will liaise closely with customer architects and engineers to design and deliver innovative cloud security Proof of Concepts. This role also involves evolving existing Rackspace security services, mentoring other security architects, and evangelizing the security cloud-native paradigm through blogs and presentations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in designing and delivering innovative technology security solutions built on the cloud. Skills in designing secure platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred) are essential, along with experience in relevant legislation and industry standards such as ISR, EU GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO27001.
