Job Description
As Manager of Educational Content, you will be a linchpin in ensuring the excellence and effectiveness of our curriculum and professional development offerings. Your daily rhythm will involve a keen eye for detail, providing constructive feedback on print and digital resources, and making crucial content and workflow decisions that directly impact our educational products. You will monitor deadlines and proactively address potential roadblocks to keep projects on track.
On a monthly basis, your focus will broaden to encompass strategic oversight of our curriculum planning and the practical elements that bring it to life. From reviewing planning grids and art projects to ensuring the quality and appropriateness of materials, your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the learning experience. You will lend your editorial expertise to curriculum guides and accompanying materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy, and you will manage contractor assignments with efficiency. Furthermore, you will contribute to the dynamic nature of our online resources and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our professional development course catalogue, keeping it relevant and aligned with evolving state and licensing standards.
Annually, you will be a key participant in shaping our long-term vision. You will work with a broader product team to develop the content strategy, setting priorities and allocating resources to drive innovation. You will spearhead the research of new curriculum resources. You will oversee the creation of essential annual curriculum components and orchestrate curriculum planning meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Your ability to analyze feedback, coordinate with various teams, and manage critical print production processes will be essential to a successful curriculum cycle. You will also champion our professional development initiatives by contributing to training development and potentially presenting at industry events.
