Senior Director of Biostatistics

About the role:

• The Senior Director of Biostatistics owns statistical strategy across a growing portfolio of in-licensed clinical-stage assets.
• You'll stay hands-on as lead statistician on live programmes from protocol development through database lock and clinical study report.
• This is a coach-player role that balances applied biostatistics with team leadership.

What you'll focus on:

• Set statistical strategy across the portfolio and lead the biostatistics, statistical programming, and medical writing functions.
• Serve as the primary statistical voice with regulators, including meetings, briefing documents, and responses to health authority queries.
• Assess the statistical rigour of clinical data packages for potential in-licensing assets and flag risks that affect deal terms.

About you:

• PhD in statistics/biostatistics with 10+ years' pharma experience, or MS with 15+ years, including lead statistician on early-phase programmes.
• Experience interacting with health authorities on multiple programmes, adaptive trial design, and CDISC standards.
• Hands-on programming skills in R/SAS and a track record of building and managing biostatistics teams.
