Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

What You'll Do:

• You will own the operational health of one or two engineering domains and lead cross-team initiatives that touch multiple control areas.
• Design patterns the rest of the team executes against, taking tools from purchased to deployed and tuned.
• Serve as a senior voice in architecture decisions alongside the Principal Engineer and Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Domain ownership: Keep engineering domains like identity, network segmentation, cloud security, and endpoint measurably healthy.
• Lead controlled rollouts of new control sets, piloting, measuring, expanding, and documenting without breaking production.
• Automate controls via IaC and policy-as-code, and produce audit-ready evidence documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in security engineering with hands-on control implementation across identity, network, cloud, endpoint, and monitoring.
• Strong fundamentals in IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and centralized logging/monitoring.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) in a security-engineering capacity and excellent mentoring skills.
