Job Description

The Communications Director is responsible for the organization’s work to engage the media and enhance Reproductive Freedom for All’s visibility, image and influence through effective and creative communications. The Director will shepherd both state and national work and serve as an on-the-record spokesperson, as well as establish and execute organization-wide communications priorities, processes and strategies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is organized, resourceful, and flexible, with a proven track record of crafting and executing high-impact communications strategies and excellent writing skills. They will work on multiple projects at once and must have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include creating national communications strategies, providing leadership to media relations efforts, managing a team, serving as an on-the-record spokesperson, and writing/editing various communications materials. They will also develop relationships with top-tier reporters, educate press, and work with communications staff members to implement communications strategies.
