Job Description
The Incident Response (IR) Engagement Manager serves as the main point of contact for clients, counsel, and partners throughout the engagement, ensuring the overall quality of each incident response. Responsibilities include scoping new engagements, generating and revising Statements of Work, leading incident response cases from start to finish, managing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires working with incident response team managers to assign appropriate team members, ensuring proper time entries, and providing daily updates to clients and counsel.
Additional duties involve communicating with technical and non-technical executives, leading the creation and execution of incident response plans, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring timely completion of milestones. Participation in on-call schedules and client tabletop exercises is also required. The ideal candidate possesses critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple cases and lead a diverse team of technical experts.
