Senior Backend Engineer

As you join, you will work closely with our backend engineers to understand the existing product and the api services. You will dive deep into the architecture, database design and deployment systems. You will start to get familiar with the code base by building smaller features, participating in code reviews and involving in design discussions with other backend and frontend engineers. As you grow, you will constantly work with Product & Design to understand the requirements and brainstorm on potential solutions with frontend engineers. By the end of your first year, you will have good ownership of one of the core services. You will be responsible for the stability, performance and extension of the service with new capabilities by working with a product lead and other lead engineers.
