Job Description
The Jewelry Designer is responsible for exceptional execution and presentation of design concepts. This role requires deep expertise in diamond jewelry, a refined design sensibility and the ability to translate creative vision into refined product that aligns with brand identity, design integrity and price point. This role is highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in both the technical and artistic aspects of bridal, fine, and high jewelry design.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, is project management-focused with dedication to meeting deadlines, while actively collaborating with Product Development, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to bring diamond-focused designs to life.
Responsibilities include leading intensive concepting periods to research and document inspiration supporting intentional product assortment development; create highly detailed sketches, stone layouts, CADs, specs/technical drawings, and gouache to translate jewelry concepts into designs reflecting the brand image that are marketable, sellable and meet company objectives. The designer will manage vendor CAD work for technical viability and provide concise technical feedback.
