About the Role:

  • Own Epic's native iOS app as the primary way readers access books on iPhone and iPad.
  • Work independently on a large Swift and Objective-C codebase.
  • Collaborate with US and global teams from India.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the reading experience, including the in-house book renderer and audio-text sync.
  • Manage offline reading, in-app purchases, and the App Store release pipeline.
  • Partner with Android, backend, and web teams on shared features.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years building native iOS apps with strong Swift and UIKit skills.
  • Depth in custom UI/text rendering and real-time media synchronization.
  • Solid understanding of iOS app lifecycle, concurrency, and release pipeline.
