Data Scientist, AI Data Foundations

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and build the curated data structures such as vector stores, feature stores, and graph databases for AI/ML applications.
• Lead data discovery work to surface hidden trends in lending and account-opening data for business insights.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and responsible use in partnership with compliance and security teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in data science or ML engineering, with hands-on work in building data assets for models.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks, with experience in vector stores, feature stores, and graph databases.
• Strong data discovery skills and grounding in classical ML concepts for effective communication with stakeholders.

Technology Stack:

• The role utilizes a stack including Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and various vector/graph databases like Pinecone and Neo4j.
• Work involves cloud services from Microsoft Azure and integration tools like Unity Catalog for governance.
