The Embedded Software team develops hardware drivers, safety monitoring, and vehicle interfaces for the autonomy system.
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Sensor firmware team, you will develop embedded software for Radar, Lidar, and networking functions.
This role requires a passion for safe, efficient software in sensing systems.

What you'll do:

Design, implement, and test high-performance C++ code for resource-constrained environments.
Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams of hardware and system engineers.
Ensure success of the product through technical leadership and mentorship.

What you'll need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, or related field plus 7+ years experience (or Master's plus 5+, or PhD plus 2+).
Strong experience with embedded applications and systems using C++.
Proficiency in network communication concepts, protocols, and configuration.
