Power Scheduler (CAISO and ERCOT)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Power Scheduling Leader to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ERCOT and CAISO electricity markets, and experience managing a team of schedulers, scheduling and dispatching renewable energy assets, specifically PV and BESS. The Power Scheduling Leader will play a vital role in optimizing the performance of our renewable energy portfolio, ensuring compliance with market regulations, and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities include managing a team of schedulers, scheduling and dispatching PV and BESS assets, developing power scheduling strategies, monitoring market conditions, ensuring market rule compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, developing scheduling models, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in power scheduling with a focus on renewable energy, along with 3+ years of experience in managing power scheduling or real-time power trading teams. Proficiency in power scheduling software and tools and strong analytical and communication skills are required.
