Role Overview:
- This role is part of the Tooling team, focused on rapidly building lightweight internal tools that improve how Crosslake teams work.
- Engineers are expected to design, build, and ship software with a focus on speed, usefulness, and iteration over long-term productization.
- The emphasis is on delivering immediate value through fast, iterative delivery with minimal handoffs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration for full-stack tools.
- Integrate with third-party tools, APIs, and internal systems to streamline workflows.
- Use AI tools across the workflow to accelerate development, testing, and code quality.
- Continuously refine, replace, or retire tools based on usage and feedback to maintain impact.
Working Environment:
- Work within small, highly capable engineering pods (2–3 engineers) that own problems end-to-end.
- Prioritize pragmatic technical decisions and fast, iterative delivery over heavy process and over-engineering.
- Focus on identifying inefficiencies and shipping tools that meaningfully improve team productivity.
