Responsibilities:
- Design and build production data pipelines via API, CDC, and event-driven patterns.
- Build dbt transformation layers with tests, documentation, and reusable models.
- Implement monitoring and observability for data quality and pipeline reliability.
Technologies:
- Cloud: AWS; Data platform: Databricks; Transformations: dbt.
- Languages: SQL and Python; ingestion frameworks include PySpark and Spark Structured Streaming.
- Orchestration: Databricks Workflows or Airflow.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years data/backend engineering experience with production pipelines.
- Strong SQL and Python proficiency; experience with AWS and Databricks preferred.
- Experience with dbt and building dashboards for executives and frontline teams.
