Staff Designer, Rapid Prototyping

What you’ll do:

• Build functional prototypes and product experiments directly in the Thunderbolt codebase.
• Translate ambiguous product ideas, user workflows, and enterprise needs into clear, usable product experiences.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping while maintaining strong judgment around quality, usability, security, and accessibility.

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in design engineering, front-end engineering, or product design with strong technical implementation.
• Strong front-end engineering skills including modern JavaScript or TypeScript and component-based frameworks.
• Experience designing and prototyping AI-enabled product experiences such as chat, search, or automation tools.

Work environment:

• Fully remote, full-time position collaborating with a global team across seven countries.

Compensation & benefits:

• Base salary range of $185,000 - $205,000 USD, benchmarked to local markets.
