Lead the development of mapbox-gl-js https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-gl-js, the industry’s leading map renderer. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to shape an ambitious roadmap for the future of map rendering. Work with modern web technologies including WebGL, WebGPU, Web Workers, TypeScript, and WebAssembly. Solve challenging problems in graphics, algorithms, and system architecture. Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across our rendering stack. Partner with Native and Mobile rendering teams to ensure consistent cross-platform experiences.
