Quality Assurance Analyst / ETL Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Change Requests and participate in requirement analysis and data modeling sessions to align testing with business needs.
• Perform backend data validation, verify mapping logic, and ensure data quality and loading accuracy for Medicaid datasets.
• Write complex SQL queries for validation and conduct checks for counts, nulls, duplicates, and referential integrity.

Test Strategy & Defect Management:

• Design test plans, cases, and scenarios for ETL processes and document results for stakeholder feedback.
• Execute manual and automated tests for full-load and incremental-load cycles and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and perform regression testing to maintain system reliability.

Automation & Technical Skills:

• Develop automated database validation scripts using Python, SQL Alchemy, and Pandas, and create shell scripts for monitoring.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and leverage deep proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and healthcare domain knowledge.
• Utilize experience with Medicaid systems, HIPAA, and clinical standards to ensure compliance and data integrity.
