Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will own the data engineering function, and work with the director of data to be sure Calibrate can support internal and external data use cases. The role will lead a project for improving data infrastructure, which will include adding in a scheduler to run data models, setting up a staging environment for testing, shoring up data quality checks and tests, and more. The position involves building and maintaining the data pipelines that drive business intelligence, analytics, and data science at Calibrate using Python. The role will create monitoring to ensure robustness and accuracy of both raw and processed data and maintain and build out the infrastructure in AWS and GCP that powers the ingestion platform. It will partner with the rest of the data team, infrastructure engineers, and product team to translate business requirements into data infrastructure, pipelines, and models and stay abreast of best practices in data engineering and propose any necessary changes.
