As a Staff Data Engineer, you’ll tackle complex, cross-functional data challenges, partnering closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with clear communication and thoughtful collaboration to ensure our data systems are not only technically sound, but also deeply aligned with NerdWallet’s strategic goals. You’ll also design, develop, and maintain data systems and pipelines that serve as the foundation for analytics and product innovation.

Drive the technical evolution of data systems that power analytics across the entire company. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing robust data systems and processes that support Docker's analytic needs while establishing technical standards and best practices for the data organization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that drive business outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with product development teams to transform raw user data into actionable insights that drive growth for Airtable’s self-serve business. You’ll own critical data pipelines, design and analyze experiments, build dashboards, and deliver strategic insights that inform executive decision-making.

Build efficient and robust data pipelines for large volumes of data, from internal databases and SaaS applications, using Fivetran, Airbyte or Python. Develop and optimize transformation data models using Redshift, Dbt, Dagster and other tools. Monitor and maintain our cloud data warehouse (Redshift) with timely and quality data. Set and ensure data engineering standards as part of the department goals. Collaborate with other teams to ensure data engineering needs/requests are addressed.
