Sr. Data Engineer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a team of analytics and machine learning experts.
• The hire will build tooling for analytics, extend our ML platform, and optimize data pipeline architecture.
• The ideal candidate is experienced in data engineering and enjoys optimizing data systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise junior members of the data engineering team, guiding and reviewing their work.
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and assemble large, complex data sets.
• Build infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL, Python, and AWS.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role and a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases like Postgres and MySQL.
• Experience building data pipelines, architectures, and working with AWS cloud services.
