Our client, a leader in technology-enabled healthcare services, is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to take ownership of their security infrastructure while supporting compliance and documentation efforts. This is a hands-on technical role, with 80% focused on security engineering and 20% on compliance and policy development. Design, implement, and maintain advanced security measures, tools, and frameworks to protect company systems and sensitive data. Monitor company infrastructure for threats, conduct incident response, and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning. Spearhead compliance efforts with frameworks like SOC 2 , HITRUST , and HIPAA , including audit support and documentation. Select, integrate, and manage security tools such as IAM, SIEM, VPN, MFA, intrusion detection, and antivirus solutions. Conduct risk evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and periodic security audits to strengthen the company’s overall security posture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies align with business objectives and technical requirements.
