Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer role involves designing and producing standardized reporting for stakeholders, including internal associates, Retail Partners, contractors, and manufacturers. The engineer will develop and manage milestones and timelines for BI and reporting initiatives. They will enhance the data warehouse utilizing best practices, by using extract, transform, and load levels to build a framework for scalability and enablement of self-service analytics. Responsibilities include analyzing complex table structures and documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies, and how data is stored and accessed, and prep, ingest, and cleanse data in data warehouse. The engineer will also source and integrate data from multiple platforms, create, maintain, and monitor alerts, fulfill adhoc reporting requests, and develop a strong understanding of business processes.
