Responsibilities:
- Lead and support incident response efforts, from identification to recovery, focusing on safeguarding Protected Health Information and minimizing impact to patient care.
- Serve in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding rapidly to security incidents and escalations, including after-hours and weekends, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, compliance, and vendor teams to assess risks, remediate vulnerabilities, and participate in threat hunting and security exercises.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in a SOC, incident response, or health IT cybersecurity role.
- Proven experience with EDR tools and SIEM solutions, preferably in healthcare environments, and familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare risk management practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to interact effectively with technical and clinical stakeholders and maintain detailed incident records.
Compensation and Work Details:
- The role offers a base pay range of $80,204.80 to $133,681.60 per year, with additional potential compensation for shift differentials, on-call duties, overtime, or bonuses.
- This is a fully remote position, with employment available in specified U.S. states, requiring availability for on-call rotation and incident response outside standard hours.
