Senior Geospatial Software Engineer

A talented Senior Geospatial Software Engineer with deep cloud expertise is needed on the Element 84 team to build cutting-edge, data-intensive platforms. As a senior member of this team, this software engineer will help build innovative, scalable, cloud-native tools that allow commercial clients to leverage earth observation data to solve a wide range of business, environmental, and logistical challenges. Primary Responsibilities include taking a primary role in the design and development of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native geospatial applications on AWS. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from architectural design and user story generation, through development, automated testing, and operational support. You will also uphold software quality and cloud best practices through active participation in code reviews and contributing to team-wide standards. It is important to own the technical execution of large, complex features from design through implementation & clearly and concisely articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
