DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and continuously improve the infrastructure and operational systems that support Clever's engineering teams.
• Build safer deployment paths with automated health checks, documented rollback plans, and clear release visibility.
• Improve production reliability across infrastructure, data stores, queues, background jobs, logs, alerts, and supporting services.

What Success Looks Like:

• In 30 days: understand core infrastructure, deployment paths, and operational risks; ship tangible improvements like reducing noisy alerts or tightening rollback paths.
• In 6 months: critical systems have clearer alerts, runbooks, escalation paths, and production-readiness expectations.
• In 12 months: infrastructure is measurably more reliable, deployments are safer, and the company has a stronger operational foundation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure engineering, or backend engineering with hands-on production infrastructure ownership.
• Strong production experience with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, networking, IAM, and DNS.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
