Senior Technical Services Officer

About the Role:

• Independently lead complex classification and EXAP projects for fire-resistant construction products.
• Prepare technical documentation including classification reports and hardware performance sheets.
• Provide expert guidance to manufacturers on test planning and evidence requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret test data and apply objective judgement to complex product scenarios.
• Peer review highly technical documentation for accuracy and rigour.
• Mentor colleagues and build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Degree in physics, engineering, or relevant scientific discipline with 5+ years' fire resistance experience.
• Detailed knowledge of fire test standards BS EN 1363-1, BS EN 1634-1, and BS EN 15269-1.
• Proficiency in data interpretation, technical writing, and Microsoft Office.
