Job Description
A Data Management Consultant is responsible for guiding organizations in the design and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and technology to ensure high-quality, well-managed, compliant, and accessible data across an organization. This role requires in-depth expertise in data management, regulatory requirements, and best practices, while blending deep technical knowledge of data architecture to equip you to advise, facilitate, and lead cross-functional teams. Core Responsibilities: Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and roadmaps. Advise on data management capabilities including catalog, marketplace, lineage, quality, and privacy. Assess current data landscapes and identify gaps. Facilitate data stewardship, ownership, and classification. Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments. Collaborate with business and IT leaders. Architect end-to-end solutions for data management. Deliver reports, workshops, and presentations. Provide thought leadership and training. Act as a trusted advisor. Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of governance programs.
