Role Overview:
- Cloud Security Engineer focused on day-to-day security engineering across AWS and GCP.
- Participate in a structured after-hours 24x7 on-call rotation for incident response and escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform system administration, patching, and compliance scanning for cloud workloads.
- Troubleshoot network, compute, application, and identity issues by reviewing logs and analyzing system behavior.
- Implement hardening controls using CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and FedRAMP requirements.
Qualifications:
- Six or more years of IT/cybersecurity experience with at least three in dedicated cloud security engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP, Linux/Windows systems, and vulnerability management.
- Experience in DevSecOps environments and tools like Terraform, Ansible, Splunk, Tenable, and GitLab.
