Associate Director, SEO Content

Role Overview:

• This is a short-term consultant role for 2-3 months, 30 hours per week, leading SEO and GEO content strategy for medium to large accounts.
• You will balance executive-level strategy with hands-on content production and editorial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SEO and GEO content programs, connecting search demand, audience insights, and business priorities.
• Develop briefs, write/edit content, and manage QA while applying AI-assisted tools.
• Mentor Content Strategists and partner with technical SEO, analytics, design, and account teams.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in content strategy, SEO, or editorial strategy, ideally in an agency environment.
• Strong SEO fundamentals and working knowledge of generative search platforms and AI citations.
• Executive communication skills and ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to quality.
