Lead Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, driving technical excellence and code quality.
• Own end-to-end architecture and design of the data platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Define and drive data migration strategies from Snowflake and SSIS to Azure Databricks and DBT.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including 2-3+ years in a Lead or Staff-level role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing data governance, observability, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance standards within insurance or financial services.
• Experience working with real-time and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Event Hubs.
