Production Designer – Product Focus

Instrument is looking to expand our freelance roster with detail-oriented Production Designers to support high-volume web design system translation projects for our digital product clients. This role involves translating existing desktop webpage designs into an established, component-based design system. All components and visual guidelines will be mapped ahead of time, so your primary focus will be on accurate application of templates, thoughtful alignment, and consistent visual execution across all pages. As a Production Designer, you will apply an existing design system to a large set of desktop webpage layouts in Figma, ensuring design consistency and accuracy across page designs. Partner with a Lead Designer and Project Manager to prioritize deliverables and maintain organized Figma files. The ability to interpret specifications and execute against them with minimal deviation is key.
