Job Role:
- This senior role is for a technical expert who bridges data engineering and strategic project leadership, focusing on a critical Azure-to-GCP migration.
- You will work directly with the IT Data Lead to modernize the data landscape and act as a 'multiplier' with both technical depth and business acumen.
- Key responsibilities include leading migration execution, architecture development, and business intelligence design.
Qualifications:
- Requires 7+ years of experience and prior work in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry for understanding compliance and commercial needs.
- Must have expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience in senior Data Engineering roles and proven track record in Project Management or Business Analysis for cloud migrations.
Team and Collaboration:
- You will be integrated into a streamlined US team and coordinate with an external global hub of over 10 consultants.
- Stakeholders include a Tech Lead, Business System Analyst, and Commercial Product Owner for alignment and strategy.
- Exceptional English communication skills are needed to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
