Overview:
- Under supervision of Sr Project Engineers or Engineering Management staff, the Project Engineer I, provides engineering management and actively manages internal PVsyst models.
- Responsible for ensuring contractor engineering deliverables remain on-schedule.
- Participates in contract document creation and EPC bid reviews.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviews internally-produced designs of solar energy projects against project constraints and contractual commitments.
- Coordinates or runs PVsyst to confirm design production against contractual commitments.
- Coordinates and conducts design reviews via Bluebeam Revu Sessions for solar power plants and substations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline from an ABET Accredited institution (i.e. BSEE, BSME, BSCE).
- Desire 1+ years project engineering experience in the designing, building, or commissioning in EPC or utility electricity generation field.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite.
