Lead Engineer - Protection Asset Strategy

You will define, approve and monitor policies related to application, design and resilience of Protection Systems for the Transmission and Distribution Licences, as well as the definition of Inspection, Maintenance, Defects management and End of Life policies. The role includes supporting the development of asset data models and information systems to ensure they are suitable to monitor the implementation of the asset management policies and in compliance with the NIS Cyber Security regulations. You will define strategic long-term plans for Protection Systems, developing investment need cases as required and establish effective communication with the Operational teams within the Transmission and Distribution Licences to monitor the delivery of the business plans. The role includes leading the review of Protection Faults and Failures, articulating lessons learned and remediation actions in a consistent manner. You will also be at the forefront of the industry innovation for Protection Assets, leveraging the introduction of new technology to improve network performance.
