This internship with Customer Energy Integration will involve working with renewable energy interconnections across Rhode Island, from small residential systems to large commercial ones. The intern will work closely with team members and other departments, creating studies to assist developers with their interconnection plans and gain a high-level understanding of how the electric grid and renewable energy generation work together.

Define, approve, and monitor asset management strategies and policies for the Protection Systems of the Transmission and Distribution Network in alignment with SPEN Asset Management objectives. Provide technical input to the development and continuous improvement of protection assets’ risk and performance review methodologies. Define Protection investment need cases and strategic long-term plans and support the respective regulatory submissions for Protection systems.

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Maintenance Engineer to offer hardware support to customers. Engineer should be located in the Bristol/Exeter area. Key responsibilities include attending maintenance visits, responding to calls, managing assets, providing call closure and stock reporting, and completing engineering paperwork.

This role will support GoodLeap’s customers, including 3rd-party Sales Reps and Solar Contractors, by troubleshooting and resolving issues and escalating them to appropriate teams as needed.

This position will oversee and ensure the peak performance, reliability, and safety of our client's power plants' electrical systems. The Electrical Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing fieldwork, strategic planning, and team collaboration to manage greenfield, brownfield, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across our diverse client range of power generation assets.
