Responsibilities:

  • Develop imaging products for end-users from Muon's infrared imaging missions, spanning both FireSat IOC and SBEM.
  • Research, design, and implement scalable algorithms for image mosaicking, orthorectification, and radiometric normalization.
  • Act as product owner for critical customer-facing imagery products and author design documents.

Qualifications:

  • PhD with 3+ years experience, MS +6, or BS +8 in relevant field.
  • 5+ years building geospatial data products from remote sensing data.
  • Hands-on experience with image mosaicking, orthorectification, and Python development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multispectral or infrared satellite imagery.
  • Domain expertise in meteorology, wildfire monitoring, or environmental remote sensing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native geospatial systems and AWS.

Compensation:

  • Salary range $138,000-$198,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
  • Includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), 3 weeks paid vacation, 12 holidays, unlimited sick time, and paid parental leave.
