About the Role:
- We're looking for a social media content producer with journalism experience to help build our presence across Good Good Good's channels.
- You'll work directly with our Social Media Editor to curate, write, and design content that interrupts doomscrolling with hope.
What You'll Do:
- Write and edit journalistic headlines, story summaries, and graphic designs for social media.
- Monitor current events and research good news story ideas in alignment with our voice.
- Track and report on social media KPIs and discover trending stories.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in social media and digital journalism with strong editorial judgment.
- A keen eye for graphic design and a basic understanding of mainstream and emerging social platforms.
- Comfort covering social issues, climate, and politics with nuance and care.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary of $60,000/year, fully remote in the USA, plus profit share.
