Overview:
- Lead the evolution of Weedmaps' design system as a scalable product.
- Unify design and code at the intersection of Design, Engineering, and AI tooling.
- Accelerate development and maintain high standards for usability.
Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the multi-platform system with clear architecture, governance, and scalability principles.
- Design and implement core system components, defining intuitive, flexible, and scalable APIs.
- Partner with Engineering on architectural decisions and support enforcement mechanisms.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in front-end, design, or creative engineering, with strong mobile focus (iOS/Android).
- Proven track record building and scaling design systems and component libraries across multiple teams/products.
- Expertise in React (Web) and React Native, and modern front-end architecture.
